Topic 1.3 Evaluating Content-based iPad Apps
Before using any app in our classroom, we need to evaluate them and be sure that they are going to suit our needs. Many of the apps we use in the classroom are creation based, such as Evernote, Popplet, iMovie, and so on. However, sometimes we find an app that addresses the specific content we teach. We need to evaluate that type of app a little differently, whether for ourselves or to get approval for use from administration.
Luckily, Kathy Schrock has put together an evaluation tool for this purpose. In this topic we will evaluate the Reading Comprehension Prep app by Peekaboo Studios LLC.
